Provide integrated support for new and young research-based, market driven ventures

Of the many promising ideas that arise at the research labs of universities, research institutes and companies, only a few make it to the marketplace. A diverse mix of talent and expertise, combinations of technologies, business models and policies drive innovation. Upon existing regional tech-transfer and new business creation activities, the Action Line builds on the EIT ICT Labs specific support system.

The young high-tech ventures can use the European dimension of EIT ICT Labs, which gives them access to a Europe-wide network of cooperating business developers. Main goals are to increase the volume of successful start-ups and to create larger SME companies by stimulating their fast (international) growth.
