How to reach the University in POVO from the CITY CENTER:

All the lessons will take place at DISI (Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science) in the suburb of Povo , in the room A215 Povo 1

(Polo scientifico e tecnologico Fabio Ferrari: Via Sommarive 5)

To reach the DISI you will need to take the bus number 5 from the main train station of Trento.

Board at the “Piazza Dante” stop in front of the train station.

IMPORTANT!!! There are two route number 5:

1. The bus number 5 with IRST indication will stop exactly in from of the building of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science. You will need to get off at the “IRST” stop, cross the street and take the stairs down to the main entrance.
2. The bus number 5 with the indication to POVO. Get off at the “Povo – Facolta di Scienze” stop just after the blue sign for “Povo”.  From here you will need to walk a short distance down the hill in Via Sommarive, following the signee IRST. The building will be exactly on your left hand side.

Route times are displayed at every stop. The stop names are shown on bus stop placards. Tickets can be purchased at newsstands. Get them before boarding.

Once you exit from the train station go to right in the same direction of the cars for 50m. After passing in front of the bus station, at the traffic light turn right and the hostel is the first structure on the right.

It is a nice place, it stained glass windows, outdoor beer garden and good menu featured wood fire stone ovens pizzas and steaks. Behind the bar you could see 5 large holding tanks with signs noting the name of the beer and the date it was brewed. There are even stainless steel pipes running under the floor showing the flow of beer to the holding tanks.
